Osteoporosis: What You Need to Know Now

Birmingham, AL (April 16, 2019) --- Grandview Medical Center will host a free lunch and learn on “Osteoporosis: What You Need to Know Now” with guest speaker Christopher Heck, M.D., orthopedic surgeon with Southlake Orthopaedics.

Osteoporosis causes 50% of women and 20% of men to break a bone. Learn how you can prevent osteoporosis, manage this progressive condition, decrease its impact on bone loss, and prevent life-threatening fractures and breaks.

The Lunch & Learn will take place at Noon on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Grandview Medical Center. The program is free and open to the public.
